Mike Loustalot
Co-Founder & Chief Evangelist
Mike is a stalwart champion of the golf industry. Raised in a family of PGA Golf Professionals, he was born with a mission to give back to the game. He introduced the first electronic tee sheets to golf courses. He connected golf courses to wholesalers and packagers creating regional reservation networks. He pioneered the online sales of tee time inventory on golf course websites and 3rd Party marketplaces. He created the industry’s only benchmarking report, ORCA. At Sagacity, Mike continues to help managers and owners see their course’s performance in a new way. When he’s not wrestling golf course data, Mike can be found speaking at industry events, taking road trips and daydreaming about good things to come.
Andy Seitz
Co-Founder & Chief Math Magician
Andy does amazing things with numbers. A rare find in the industry, Andy blends expertise in tee time pricing and sales with a Masters from Columbia in Golf Revenue Optimization. This gives him a one-of-a-kind ability to see where golf courses have the power to increase their green fee revenue. Andy’s calculations power all our Sagacity products. He’s always creating something, whether a clever recovery on the course from a tricky lie or a new technology. Andy also loves spending time with his family, gardening and playing squash.
Duane Craw
Co-Founder and Chief Technology Wizard
Duane has been writing software for the golf industry for over 20 years including serving as CTO of GolfNow. His talent for efficient and flexible system architecture is helping Sagacity build the platforms necessary to support our goal of providing golf courses with the tools necessary to increase revenues. When he’s not writing code, Duane can be found spending time with his family and his wonderful grandchildren, riding motorcycles, and playing guitar.
Ben Westfall
Co-Founder & Chief Software Genius
Ben is passionate about making technology useful for people. For 20+ years, he’s been working with computers and writing software. Ben has the unique ability to make complex technology easy to use. He’s been coding for the golf industry for 14 years and enjoys the day-to-day challenges the industry provides. When he’s not writing software, Ben enjoys endurance mountain biking, building and flying airplanes and spending time with his wife and children.
Mike Thorington
Head of Growth & Little League Coach
Mike is passionate about helping people. Since 1999, he’s helped golf course owners and operators make more money by maximizing revenue opportunities and engaging with customers. His mission continues at Sagacity Golf, where Mike spreads the word about smart promotion and pricing strategies to grow business. When Mike isn’t in conversation with a customer, he’s skiing, hitting a few straight golf shots and coaching his kids baseball teams.
Francis Halpin
Chief Organizer of Abstract Ideas
Francis is a serial entrepreneur. As co-founder and COO of GolfNow, he helped bring a new online era to the golf industry. With his broad background as a technology and business consultant, he’s making sure Sagacity can do it again, but this time with better insights and a sharper focus on growing golf course revenue. His role at Sagacity centers around streamlining operations and building in scalability at the same time. Outside the office, Francis can be found enjoying time with his family or working on his next novel.
Shannon Lanyi
VP of Client Relations & Straight Shooter
Shannon always puts clients first. After finishing law school, she took a detour selling with Cypress Golf Solutions (which later became GolfNow) and never looked back. Since 2005, Shannon has helped golf course owners and managers see what’s possible with new technology. Shannon looks after our clients and makes sure they get the most out of their products. When she’s not helping golf course owners transform their businesses, Shannon is enjoying the outdoors in all kinds of ways: golfing, gardening, skiing, traveling, you name it.
Matt Arnzen
VP of Marketing & Digital Double Threat
Matt is our creative power house. Not only does he oversee Sagacity Golf’s marketing strategy, he’s behind the visual design of all our products. Matt’s digital marketing chops have grown many businesses, from startups to Fortune 500 companies. As an early employee at GolfNow, he helped grow the business to 50 markets in two years. When Matt’s not tweaking dashboard buttons, you can find him outside taking photos and spending time with his family.
Sue Thomas
Sr. Director of Customer Success & LPGA Tour Vet
Sue has lived for golf ever since she was a young girl. She was a junior golfer, an NCAA All-American, and a member of the LPGA Tour for 13 fabulous years. When Sue moved into the business side of golf, she continued to win awards like Product Salesperson of the Year at GolfNow. At Sagacity, Sue enjoys partnering with clients to help them discover hidden opportunities to drive revenue with Sagacity Golf. In her spare time, Sue loves going on walks with her dogs, Murphey and Tanner, and watching college football (Go Dawgs and Horns!).
Jason Brill
Sr. Director of Customer Success & Revenue Wiz
Jason implements the Sagacity performance tools for our clients. He was the Head Golf Professional at Starfire Golf Club in Scottsdale Arizona for 12 years, and later became the Director of Revenue Management for OB Sports. This gives him a unique perspective: he knows what it’s like to run daily operations at a golf course, and he knows what it’s like to make decisions that affect multiple courses. Outside of work, Jason enjoys watching and playing sports with his three children.
Cory Procter
Client Services Manager & Guitar Hero
Cory is always here for our clients. He answers questions, solves problems and helps our customers get the most out of their Sagacity products. Once a Class A PGA Golf Professional, Cory draws from deep experience working with golf tournaments, tee sheets and point of sale systems. With Sagacity, Cory loves seeing golf courses become empowered to do the things they previously depended on a 3rd party provider to do for them. When he’s not working with clients, Cory spends time with his family, serves in his church and plays a mean guitar.
Colleen Loustalot
Data Analyst & Tee Sheet Whisperer
Colleen pieces together the full story of every tee sheet. As our data analyst, she sniffs out inaccuracies in tee sheet data to make sure golf courses have a true picture of their performance. Colleen loves helping golf course owners and managers learn how to find new opportunities to improve their operational procedures. If she’s not playing golf, Colleen can be found running, riding horses or playing billiards.
Paul Meyer
Client Services Manager & Farmer-on-the-Side
Paul loves working with our clients, especially since he used to be a Golf Professional, too. After 10 years working in Assistant and Head Pro positions, Paul made the move into Golf Technology and now spends his days with Sagacity helping owners and managers make their operations more profitable and efficient. When Paul’s not helping our clients increase their revenue, he’s spending time with his family and helping out on the farm.
